[CLOSED!!] My 50 Follower MAC Giveaway!!!!!!!

Hey Girls! I am beyond excited to show you the prizes for my 50 follower giveaway!!! I decided that I wanted to find a few past limited edition items, from MAC that I personally have loved. So I got a Viva Glam V gift set, that comes with the makeup bag and a lipstick (Lusture) and lipglass. A Liberty of London shadow in Dames Desire (a Frost finish) and a Venemous Villans lipglass in Devilshly Stylish. 

Now, I did open the boxes so I could take pictures of the products and I didn't swatch the makeup (ew) for obvious reasons. Also in the picture of the lip products the two lipglasses look very similar! That's just the camera, the Viva Glam glass is more of a cinnamon-nude color, while the Venemous Villans glass is a champagne-pink-coral.

Beauty Blogger of the Week!!!

Hey girls!!! Ahhhh I'm so excited! My amazing friend Opal made me the Beauty Blogger of the Week on her blog! She is so great, she asked me amazing questions in a interview over email and I love how excited she was, she puts so much effort and care into her blog, from design to her posts! Haha she talked about how we are like total twins! We are so similar! Jergans Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer Review!

If you follow me on twitter or you saw the pictures I posted, then you would know that my older brother Kellin got married three weeks ago. The dresses were absolutely gorgeous! They were my favorite color (purple) and they had beautiful pleating around the bust, I loved it, there was only one issue. The dress fell above the knee. I am naturally a very fair person, more like a brunette albino so my legs were so pasty! It was awful! I didn't want to lay out to get some color, just because of pre-mature wrinkles and skin cancer, so I turned to Jergans Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer (I used fair to medium).

The first time I used it I had to laugh, the directions said "apply until you feel a resistance" which I thought was pretty strange, turns out you really do feel a moment when it does not want to seep into your skin anymore. So after I used it for only two days, I noticed an obvious difference in my skin tone. the only problem I had with it was, the results from the mistake I was making. I'm a very impatient person and wanted full results right away, not a good thing to do! I applied a ridiculous amount meant for a few days all at one time, which caused my toes, ankles and knees orange! It was horrible, luckily it faded after a few days. 

Now I have been using Jergans for about a month now and I am very impressed. I have a summer glow, without the hours of damaging my skin and it also leaves my skin very smooth!

I was awarded my the lovely Opal her blog is amazing and she has given me the most amazing feedback about everything that I post or something that I tweet, she is so sweet and I know that if I have a question about anything that I can ask her!

Whats pissing you off? My family! Not my parents, we've always been really close but my aunts! They start family drama for no reason, it's ridiculous, they are like thirteen year olds!
When your upset you... I bother my friends and my mom talking about it until I feel better.
Your favorite pet: Cats.
Black? or White? Black.
What is your biggest fear? Spiders! I hate spiders so so much! That scene in Harry Potter Chamber of Secrets with those massive, nasty spiders with ten eyes freaks me out! I totally cried the first time I saw that movie.
What is your best feature? I'd have to say my eyes.
Everyday attitude? Happy, energetic and most likely random :) just like Opal, I too need at least 2 or 3 hours to wake up, I am not a morning person at all!
What is perfection? Perfection is what ever you think perfection is, if you think you look perfect wearing a baggy tee-shirt, some yoga pants and you hair all messed up then you do.
Guilty pleasure? Ben & Jerry's Imagine Whirled Peace ice cream (the John Lennon flavor) It's to die for!

The past couple of days has been so amazing for me, I finally reached fifty followers which just made me so ecstatic!       1.My favorite movie of all time has to be The Field of Dreams, my dad is a huge baseball fan so I grew up loving it (and I still do) but really the Field of Dreams isn't really a baseball movie it's more about this guy and his dad, it's just amazing! Makes me cry every time I watch it! "Hey, is this Heaven?" "No, it's Iowa." I honestly don't think the trailer does it justice, it's one the Netflix on demand for the Wii and Xbox 360.

      2. When I first started using makeup I got the Bare Minerals starter kit, and now when I see the new starter kit I laugh because they come with DVD's mine came with a VHS! I still love the foundation though!

      3. I have a kitty, his name is Maxwell.

         4. My favorite color to wear is Navy Blue, I wear way to much of it!

     

      5. I love old music, Jim Croce, Fleetwood Mac, music like that!

        

         6. I have two best friends, Ginny who I go to school with and Sarah who moved to Florida two years ago.

DIY: Homemade Bath Bombs!!!

Hey Girls! I've been loving writing these DIY posts! It's so fun to try everything then share it with you!

Homemade Bath Bombs
Ingredients

• 2 cups of Baking Soda.
• 1/4 of a cup of Cream of Tarter
• A spray bottle filled with water.
• Food coloring.
• Any fragrance you'd like.

Instructions

1. Combine the baking soda and the cream of tarter very well.
2. Then add the fragrance and food coloring (1 to 2 drops or you will have rings around your tub) when you add the food coloring it will stay in a little ball shape and won't turn your mixture the color you added, the next step brings the color out.
3. Spray the mixture with your water and stir, make sure the water is dissolved. You are done spraying it with your water once you can make a ball with it and it does not crumble apart.

Then you are done! I'd make two bath bombs out of this batch for the best results :)

The Beauty Would You Rather Tag 2011

While reading Pinkpurse21's Blog I saw this tag and I thought it looked really fun! So I thought I might try it!

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?
Eye shadows are my favorite but I'd have to say I'd keep my mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lip glosses. Just because I wouldn't be able to live without my mascaras and eyeliners.

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
Never cut it again, I like having long hair.

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
Pink cheek.

If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
Deffinatly clothes, but only if that includes bags and shoes.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner or eyeliner as lipstick?
Lipstick as eyeliner, like black lipstick? Defiantly not red or pink!

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora, they have NARS, benefit, Laura Mercier, Two Faced and Philosophy. I love MAC makeup but I deffinatly would choose Sephora.

Would you rather use only one eyeshadow color or one lip color the rest of your life?
One lip color, because if I only wore one eyeshadow then I couldn't do smokey eyes or even an inner corner.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in the summer or summer clothes in the winter?
I love winter clothes, in the summer I miss my scarves and my leather riding boots, but I also hate being over heated so I'd say summer clothes in the winter.

Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
Deffinatly dark nails, I love navy blues and maroons on my nails.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?
Messy bun! I love messy buns, my hair is almost never in a pony tail but my hair has to be in a bun in order for me to fall asleep, then sometimes I classy it up with a headband.

Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never use lip gloss, my nails always have to be painted.

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all? Or sharpie them in everyday?
Sharpie.

Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Live without nail polish! I couldn't live without my makeup!

DIY: Make Your Own Bronzer!!!

Don't you hate when your out of bronzer but also strapped for cash? If your like me (pretty much albino) then you know, you can't live without bronzer. So what do you do in one of these devastating situations? Make your own bronzer!

You only need three things:

• Some kind of container. I used an empty Bare Minerals, Mineral Veil pot.
• Unsweetened cocoa powder. It's very important that it's unsweetened  because it has no sugar so it won't cause breakouts.
• Powdered sugar.

It is not extremely important the measurements of cocoa and sugar, but try to either have equal parts sugar and cocoa or more sugar that cocoa because the sugar dilutes the cocoa and prevents you from being muddy. You can also use hot cocoa mix or cinnamon.

Perhaps my favorite picture the the photographer took! I think this is just so awesome! They had their wedding at this amazing house and the naighbors next door offerd to let the guys get ready at their house, so this was taken when the boys were walking over to the ceremony.

The Butterfly Award

So if you guys follow me on twitter I'm sure you'd notice the dozens of tweets that I send Jen/pinkpurse21 we started to talk through twitter about our blogs and even though I have never met her in person I can tell that she is a really sweet and caring person. If you follow her blog you know that she puts in I'm sure hours of her time, taking pictures and sharing really fun and informative information with us.
