Fun Fitness Tips! Small Ways to Be Healthier!

Hey girls! So lately I've been on a quest to feel better, I wouldn't exactly call it a health kick, I just wanted to have more energy and change my eating habits. Here are a few adjustments I've made to be healthier!

  • Drink three to four cup of green tea per day! I actually didn't like the taste of green tea when I started my "quest" but now I love it. Plus green tea has antioxidants that fight off cancer and it can even prevent dementia.
  • Drink eight glasses of water per day! This is eight glasses or four bottles of water, I actually drink out of the plastic Poland Springs bottles, just because that is easier for me. It seems a lot simpler to grab a bottle on the go.
  • Just Dance 2! If any of you guys have Just Dance 2, then you know...life changing! It is so much fun and you burn an insane amount of cals! I love the dances: Rasputin, Cosmic Girl, Jump, Viva Las Vegas and Body Moving.
  • Laugh! It's been proven that laughing increases you metabolism!
So there are my little changes in my daily routine and so far, I've really noticed a difference! I've actually lost eight pounds since the beginning of July!

Hope this helped!

xoxo,

Back to School Tag!!!!

Hey girls!!! I was tagged by Jen, who I just don't have enough nice things to say about, she is one of the first fellow Beauty Bloggers I talked to and she is one of the sweetest girls ever! Follower her if you haven't already! So now for the Tag!

Are you excited and/or nervous for this year?
I'm actually really excited for this year, I signed up for some really fun classes! I'm a little nervous too, but I think it's natural for everyone to be nervous for school.

What's for favorite part of getting ready for back to school?
This may sound weird, but probably organizing everything, I am defiantly OCD about organizing my school supplies!

What grade were you in when you started wearing makeup?
6th grade, but I didn't really get into all the neutral smokey, contour fanciness until freshman year.

Where or from whom do you like to get inspiration for school from?
Youtube videos, mostly Macbarbie07, we have very similar style. Also fellow bloggers and also magazines.

What are your favorite back to school/fall trends?
Defiantly the maxi trend, not only dresses but skirts as well. Also blazers and chunky sweaters.

Where do you like to go shopping for back to school supplies?
Staples or Target.

What are your favorite stores to go back to school clothes shopping?
TJ Maxx & Marshalls are always great places to go for designer pieces at an amazing discount, I also love American Eagle and Aerie.

Will you be carrying a back pack or a purse to school this year?
In middle school I carried a bag, but since I got to High School I have been carrying a backpack. I already have back problems, I don't want to make them worse.

What are 3 non-beauty essentials you have to have in your backpack?
1.water 2. note cards 3. notebook.

What are your go-to hair products for this year and what is your go to hair style?
I really don't use hair products (hair gel, spray, mouse ect.) and I straighten my hair rarely, because it is naturally straight...And for a hairstyle lately I haven't had just one that's a go-to, mostly I've been playing with different braids and twists.

What are your go-to clothing items for this year? And what accessories do you plan on rocking this year?
My go-to clothing item is always dresses, they're great for fellow morning-haters :) with a dress you can throw it on real quick but still look adorable! Accessory wise, I'd say rings (of course!) and lots of bracelets.

Gosh darn it! Jen tagged everyone I wanted to! So I tag anyone who wants to do it!

Thanks for Reading!!!

P.S. Opal made me a signature, what do you think? I love it!!! :)

Each provider can create a free, highly customizable page that's like a mini-website that can be made in minutes that can be made in minutes. Users can promote their qualifications, services, locations, special offers and payment policies, upload resources like instructional videos and even create their own blogs.

Plus, it's all free! Since it's launch in May 2010, it has become on of the largest online directories for makeup artist, personal trainers and music teachers."

Dry Fast And Mega Last! My Review of Fast Dry And Mega Last Polishes From Wet n Wild!

2 Teal of Fortunes, 1 SaGreena the Teenage Witch, 1 Disturbia (Mega Last), 1 Blue Wants To Be A Millionaire, 1 Saved By the Blue, 2 Teal or no Teals.

Hey girls! So Friday I got a shipment from Wet n Wild, that contained 8 nail polishes (shown above). Yes, I got the polishes for free, for review, no that does not taint my review what so ever. My reviews are my honest opinion and I'd never change that because of a free product.

So I'm going to start with the Fast Dry polishes, they sent me 7 of them, and what I noticed as soon as I put them on was that they did not smell. Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed with some fast dry nail polishes from other companies, that they were just repulsive! With the Fast Dry polishes, they have no nasty odor, and the application is flawless, the brush gives you a very smooth coat. I couldn't believe the pigmentation too, only one maybe two coats gives you amazing vibrant color.

Wet n Wild also sent me one Mega Last, I had actually purchased an Mega
Last a week ago, in Bite the Bullet and I absolutely loved it. I was so excited when I saw that they sent me Disturbia, Disturbia is a eggplant-plum shade that looks gorgeous with Bite the Bullet. Much like the Fast Dry polishes, Mega Last is extremely pigmented, but it actually dries really fast too. I wouldn't say it dries as fast as the Fast Dry, but I'd say it dries faster than most normal nail polishes.

I really enjoyed trying these polishes out! I'm so excited to add the Wet n Wild, Fast Dry and Mega Last products to my collection, they are fabulous for not only Spring and Summer but also the colder months!

Thanks for Reading Girls!
xoxoxo,
-Alex :)
