Spring Break Life Savers

Here is 5 things for your makeup/ toiletries bag and 5 things for your suitcase that can help you get through spring break alive :) enjoy!

St. Ives Apricot Scrub

5 things needed for your makeup/toiletries bag

1.) A good face scrub, If your going somewhere hot in search of a tan the odds are you will peel. To me peeling is one of the nastiest things ever, and I want to get rid of those peels as fast as possible, especially is there on your face. A scrub with a grainy consistancy will buff away all of the nasty skin and leave you with the smooth skin underneath. I recommend: St. Ives Invigorating, Fresh Skin, Apricot Scrub. It costs less then $5 and is at most drugstores.

2.) Lip Balm with SPF 15+. Sunburned lips are really really gross. How do you expect to have a moment with the cute guy that you've had your eye on all week...with flaky chapped lips? Impossible! So try to find a lip balm with SPF, at least SPF 15. I Recommend: Blistex Rasberry Lemonade Blast lip balm. I got mine for around $1.60 at Rite Aid. This is my favorite lip balm of all time! And it smells AMAZING!!! So so good :)

3.) Coral Blush. Coral blush brings out you tan, and gives your skin a dewy glow that makes your entire face bright. (Tip: also use the same blush when you get home, to keep your tan!) I recommend: Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Blush and Highlighter Blush. Most Physicians Formula products can be found at Target for around $12. Physicians Formula products are fantastic and I love them.

4.) Light Spray with SPF. Tanning with out any sunscreen of any kind is a huge mistake! When you tan with out sunblock you age yourself six months everytime. You might not notice it then, but believe me you will later. So even if its SPF 5, I don't care, But...I recommend: Panama Jack's Sunblock Oil SPF 15. It's about $10 at Walmart, Drugstores and Stop and Shop. Yes it's oil, not a lotion consistancy. But a huge plus is it feels light but still does its job. Plus it sinks into your skin super fast and it smells fantastic, it smells like pineapple and mangoes!

awe even the picture is petite:)
5.) Bright colored Nail Polish. Colors like lime green, hot pink, orange or teal. All of these colors enhance you tan and make you seem tanner. So its a little touch that will make you tanner :) and i don't know anyone who doesn't want to be tan! I'd recommend the petites CQ nail polishes they're about a dollar and yes they're tiny, but a little goes a long way! Also the petites would be great if your going somewhere where you have to fly! Because you could fit three or four little petite nail polishes in the small pocket of your suitcase :)

5 things needed for your suitcase

1.) Old Navy Fip Flops. Brown, Blue, Grey, Red, Purple, Yellow, Pink, Zebra print, Cheetah print...I have them all, and for 2 for $5 who couldn't instantly become addicted? To me the best thing about Old Navy Flip Flops is after two or three weeks your foot is molded into the actual flip flop! That makes them super comfy :)
2.) Cute Patterned/Shimmery Racerback Tank. Racerback tanks are really 'in' right now so they can be found pretty much anywhere! American Eagle has some really adorable ones right now. The American Eagle ones can range from $14 to $25. The American Eagle.com has a huge veraity of tanks and camis check them out at: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/category_feature_item_guide.jsp?catId=cat380157

3.)  Colored shorts. Pink, Blue or Tan are all really cute for hanging out at the beach :) Aeropostle has some adorable and afordable colored shorts. They are around $18 right now online order them at: http://www.aeropostale.com/product/index.jsp?productId=10880555&cp=3534618.3534619.3534623.3541050.3536152.11327055.11331566

4.) A Flowy Patterned Dress. I was at Forever 21 the other day and they have the cutest dresses in stock. Printed sundresses are the cutest thing to wear as a beach coverup and out to lunch. They are pretty much summer staples for summer 2011. The links that I'm going to post are dresses I personally liked from the Forever 21 website :) http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=whatsnew%5Fapp%5Fdresses&product%5Fid=2062096832&Page=1

5.) Cute Wedges. I love wedges! They're adorable and pretty comfortable! Plus they go with all kinds of summery dresses and give you a couple inches of extra height. Payless has some really cute ones for around $25.

Hope you guys enjoyed this post, it took me about 2 days off and on for a couple hours :) I knew this is super long but comment please and tell me if you liked this post and any ideas you have for new posts i'd love!
